The Client Relations Manager (CRM) is integral to Chartwells K12 Sector retention initiatives. The CRM engages in all retention activities of assigned portfolio of accounts through interaction with clients, operational and field support teams by managing, organizing and leading efforts to ensure account retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages overall retention activities of assigned Portfolio of Accounts and accountable for 100% retention.

  • Proactively demonstrate personal expertise in listening and relationship building.

  • Provide expert advice in effective relationship building skills to operation and support teams

  • Conducts assigned interviews and leads operations in developing account retention strategies and follows up with operation and support teams on retention action plans.

  • Lead entire re-bid and pre-emptive proposal process of all assigned accounts

  • Responsible for development, writing and submission of rebid & pre-emptive proposals. Must effectively collaborate with District Manager, Regional Vice President and Proposal Design Coordinator to ensure strategic intent and RFP compliance.

  • Collaborate with District Manager and Regional Vice President in managing the overall retention pro forma process to ensure a winning deal strategy

  • Employ negotiating skills and creative problem solving skills to ensure account retention, effective client relationships and solid financial position.

  • Lead and manage all re-bid, pre-emptive and other retention related presentations. Engage and collaborate with operations and support teams on presentation strategy, format and all client facing materials related to presentation.

  • Prioritize, organize and manage an extensive business travel calendar

  • Support all Chartwells K12 Sector initiatives and key result indicators

  • Demonstrates success as a self-starter and ability to effectively prioritize work

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degreerequired.

  • Previous management and/or sales experience in a food service management organization.

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

  • Ability to read and interpret RFP’s, financial data and contracts

  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, One Note, Word, Excel, Power Point

  • Extensive travel required
